What is kuwait flag?

The flag of Kuwait consists of three horizontal stripes with green on the top, white in the middle, and red on the bottom. In the hoist side of the green stripe, there is a black trapezoid with a white Arabic script that translates to "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah". This phrase is a declaration of the Islamic faith.

The current flag was adopted on September 7, 1961, after gaining independence from the United Kingdom. The colors of the flag have symbolic meanings, with green representing fertility, white symbolizing purity, and red standing for the blood shed by Kuwaiti warriors in defense of their country.

Kuwait's flag is similar to several other Arab countries' flags, which also incorporate the colors green, white, red, and black, as well as Islamic symbols and script. The flag is used in various official and ceremonial events, and it is a source of pride and national identity for the people of Kuwait.
